How Many MBET Students Does It Take to Change a Flat?

February 16th, 2007 · 5 Comments

This evening, James and I were torn away from our accounting assignment by a phone call from James’ wife. Our damsel in distress had the misfortunate of getting a flat tire on her way home from horseback riding lessons (note to all you city folks – a perk of living in KW is that you can take horseback riding classes).

In case any of you don’t know, here in Waterloo we are enjoying some of the coldest whether of the year. We are also getting a nice dump of snow, and when combined with the wind, changing a flat tire this evening was about as pleasant as finishing off our accounting assignment!!

The pictures below tell the story… and we managed to get things fixed up without a case of frostbite!! Just thought I’d share a bit of the “lighter” side of MBET!!

    Talk about gentlemen…
Rochelle is lucky to have two men like you and James in her life!

    Stay warm,
    Benjamin

PS – living in waterloo also means buying a starter home for under $750,000 🙂

Dan, you were a total trooper last night!! Thanks again for being so manly and coming to my aid on the backroads of North Waterloo in -30 degree weather!

I was quite impressed by level of cooperation and teamwork that you and James demonstrated, and how efficiently your communication enabled you to accomplish the task at hand 😉

Who knows – I could otherwise still be out there waiting for CAA…

How many Newfie’s does it take to change a tire?
Just me..and I can even do it in an evening gown!
God bless my dad the mechanic!

However, now that I know you can change a tire..I think you definely have inherited that chore in the relationship…especially in this weather!

Love the dress shoes and wrench combo! I think it will be very trendy in the upcoming winter collection.

Hats off to you and James for being the last of the chivalrous men!!!

I thought the dress shoes and wrench look was pretty hot. I’m sure it’ll be seen on the runways of Paris and Milan for next winter’s collection.

No need for me to pay into CAA, I’ll call you guys next time I get a flat!
